Ok so I had been to a neurologist for my massive headaches, neck pain, dizziness etc. Had CT them MRI and was diagnosed with Chiari 10mm (no syrinx). She said this is why you are having all the symptoms you should have the surgery to help. Waited all this time to see him. The pressure in my head and neck is crazy and this dizziness daily. So he says to me well maybe none of your symptoms have anything to do with Chiari?!!!? what I couldnt believe it. I kinda get what he's saying lets rule all else out so we can assume thats why your having your problems so we can do the surgery. But what else would be wrong with me? He wants me to see another headache guy (to do what ?) and ENT so what your saying I have independent neck pain, dizziness from inner ear and someother problem for headaches that makes no sense to me at all. I was so relieved to have a diagnosis now it feels like it was taken away from me. Im sure thats not the case but...ok sorry for the long vent. has this ever happened to you? I guess I 'll just go through the motions do the appts. so I can go back and be like well it was nothing else NOW can we say my symptoms are from my chiari??

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
