Arnold-Chiari malformation, sometimes referred to as 'Chiari malformation' or ACM, is a congenital anomaly of the brain. Arnold-Chiari Malformation II occurs in almost all children born with both spina bifida and hydrocephalus, but ACM I is typically seen in children and adults without spina bifida.

Hey Everyone,
I just was wondering if anyone has experienced trouble with any kind of Cyst on their Ovaries.. I was in the ER for several hours yesterday and they said that I have once again a Hemorragic Cyst and a cyst I never heard of before it is called a Dermoid Cyst.. So now I am wondering if this has anything to do with the Arnold Chiari and if anyone else has experienced this trouble before...
It seems like everything that happens has to be neat and interesting to all the doctors but none of them have a clear answer so I am looking to all of you to see if anyone here has had any of the same issues...

I have had trouble with ovarian cysts for years. to my knowledge it does not have anything to do with CM but you never know. I have had surgery to remove some but others have ruptured on their own. You need to find a good gyn.

I am also dealing with cysts, I had a full hystorectomy when I was 24 and ten years later they said I had fragmental ovarian syndrom wher the tissue grew back. I now have a tumor that they are shrinking down so they can remove it.

I had what they call polycystic ovaries. Ovaries that continue to get cyst even with treatment. At 33 I had a complete hysterectomy, that means no ovaries, no cervix, no uterus. I still am prone to cyst so I have often wondered if they are related to the ACM. Butterfly is correct you need a good gyn.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
