daughter age 13 diagnosed acm last year after optician saw papilodema ,main problems headaches and eye problems,headches getting steadily worse so have seen neuro surg today who has recommended surgery ,told us to go away and ring him when we are ready to have it,do I put her through this when she is coping with the headaches and will it get rid of them ? we are in uk so dont get choices over surgeons like in US ,he has only done 2 decompressions so that is another worry I know there are no easy answers but could sure use some support right now.her symptoms have got worse since diagnosis but are not so bad yet ,will they continue to worsen ,I feel like we are having to go through this alone as even our family dont understand
