I'm going to see a new therapist this tuesday. i was wondering if i could get a few questions answered by those of you who have gone through the process.
so what happened at your first appointment with your new therapist? was it just another kind of get to know you thing? were your files transferred from your old therapist to your new one and did you pick up where you left off? did you go through another evaluation?
i suppose i'm most concerned about the expediting of the whole process. because when i started seeing my first therapist things went really slow.it took about 2 months to get the whole evaluation finished.it was partly our fault for not having turned in all the forms and surveys in a timely manner. but i just don't want to go through another dragged on process because i'm not doing too well lately. i don't know how well i'll do w/o real sessions for a long period of time. even one skipped session often takes quite a toll on me.
so anyhow, i would appreciate your feedback on this.

more than likely a new evualation and some getting to know each other. each may do things differently but i doubt he/she is going to rely on the other therapist reports.

I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
