General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. So this new episode has brought new symptoms. I have tremors now that i never had before. Sometimes it's mild and my hands shake constantly...and other times the shaking seems very strong to me. I have been experiencing some vision disturbances too. Sometimes I get blurry vision, sometimes things just dont "look right". I have also had some pressure behind my eyes...not a pain but I just want to close them all the time, rub them and sometimes they bother me so much I wish I could take them out for a little while and then put them back in...LOL! I am trying to cut back on the Ativan (my pills are .5 mgs) and I am down to 1/4 of a pill a day. I have never really taken anymore than a whole .5 mg on any given day in all the time I have taken it....sometimes going days or weeks without it (but not in the last 6 months...I have been taking it almost daily...usually just a 1/4 of a pill). The Dr. told me to take 1/4 of a pill now every other day for a week and then 1/4 every 3 days for a week etc. until I am not taking anymore at all. The tremors is what keeps me taking it every day...they don't go away unless I take it. any advise would be appreciated.

My mothers mother and both of her sisters had tremors of the head. I and both of my sisters do also as does my son from time to time. Crazy. There is med for it but don't see the need. Vision gets bad and found that when I had trigger point injections, it really improved. I wish my doctor would send me to neurologist, have asked several times. Maybe my next request....

Hey there. I suffer from blurry vision too during certain episodes. I think its just a defense mechanism. What we see is making us anxious, so our vision gets all blurry so it gets taken away. I am prolly very far off why it really happens, lol.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
