i do not have anxiety, but my boyfriend does, he started having anxiety attacks only about 3 weeks ago, has been to the emergency room twice, and his doctors appt is not until next week. i need a little help i want to be supportive and help him as much as i can, we do not live together, but have been together for 4 years, we talk everyday, except recently, since the attacks started, now he'll have a couple of good days, then i will not here from him for a couple of days, i make sure to e-mail him or text him everyday with i love you, i am here for you, etc. i guess my question is...is this part of anxiety, him being distance and not wanting to talk to me, and when i talked to him on friday, i noticed that he sounded like depression was starting, i always thought anxiety was caused by trauma in your life, the only thing that happended to him is he turned 30 (1st trip to the er), to me i could not understand if that could cause it. could someone please help me understand, i am trying to research all that i can, so that i can be there for him in the way that i need to be. thanks
