Set a certain time for bed and actually get into bed at that time. Possibly even before some people in your house are actually asleep because I personally feel I can relax better if people are awake in the house when I get ready to go to sleep. Anyhow turn everything off. Play ocean, rain, or whatetever else is calming to you on your radio, iPod, ect. Just make sure it has a timer so it's not going all night. Most nights this helps me. It made me realize that the reason I get anxiety is because I stay up so late on the computer and then when I get the anxiety I stay on the computer and come on dailystrenght to try and help me but end up getting more anxious being up so late. Also try some deep breathing as ur falling asleep and imagine urself somewhere else like if u have ocean sounds off imagine urself relaxing on the beach. Hope this helps.
