Just wondering if any of you have any herbal remedies to recommend. I've tried St. John's Wort on and off, and I do notice I start to feel better when I remember to take it consistently. But then I notice that after awhile the effect starts to wear off, so I take a break from it for a month or two before starting on it again. Currently, I'm not on, but am thinking of starting it again. Also, I find that Kava really helps. It would say it takes the edge off the anxiety by about 25% and if I take 3 of them at once, I can get a really good relaxed feeling that will last about 1/2 hour. The only downfall is that if you start to take it too much it can leave you with a headache. It is very safe btw, so long as what you take is made only from the root of the kava, not the whole plant. So check your labels. Any other recommendations out there? I've been curious about trying Bach's Rescue Remedy. Has anyone used this with success?

I always thought St. Johns was like one of those mind over matter medicines. Like taking a water pill. But maybe I'll try it.

I have tried Rescue Remedy and it does work well for me when my anxiety is mild....but doesn't do much when it is high....

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps.
