Does anyone out there suffer from the vicious cycle of anxiety and erratic sleep? Personally, I find as my anxiety level increases (due to life stresses), so does my erratic sleep patterns (always waking up exhausted after 6-7 hours of sleep). I can't seem to put my finger on how to break this pattern? Any help would be greatly appreciated. To note is that I am now med. free and wish to remain so. Thank you.

I have my maxed amount of epidural shots of my cervical DDD....(and no one cares about my lumbar DDD)..... I've done physical therapy, muscle relaxers, Amitriptyline, Nortryptiline, desipramine.....narcotics... So I decided to go to a spine specialist and they have me on Gabapentin. Its been two weeks and it did nothing for my lumbar ever... but it did seem to help my cervical and arm/hand pain...
