I went to see my psychiatrist on friday to get to a refill for citalopram and xanax. She also prescribed me seroquel to help with my anxiety. She said it would help calm me down. I read some info about it and am not sure if I want to take it. I've dealt with some of the side effects before, when starting other meds, like drowsiness, dizziness, increased appetite, dry mouth... but one side effect which really worries is it may cause high blood sugar. I'm diabetic, my psychiatrist knows that, I'm hoping it won't affect my blood sugars. Is that common? Has anyone been on seroquel and can give me some advice? I don't know what I'm gonna to do. I've already tried lexapro and clonazepam for anxiety, and either worked. I feel like I'm running out of medication options. I do try natural treatments, but they're not enough. I would really appreciate any advice / thoughts on if seroquel is a helpful treatment option for generalized anxiety disorder. Thanks.

I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...
I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
