I have been on various meds for GAD and Panic Disorder for 14 years on and off. The last 5 months I have not taken any meds at all and my BP is through the roof. My doctor has prescribed Propranolol. He thought I would be a perfect candidate for this because it breaks the blood/brain barrier. I have been taking it for about 3 days now. I am finding that I am not aware of what is going on with my heart (racing, palpitation etc...). One side effect is a urge to yawn a lot, even if i don't have too, or take a deep breath although I am not having trouble breathing. Anyone else with these sort of side effects, and can I expect them to wane with use?

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
