My dear, dear 17-year old cat Sydney is not doing too well, I'm afraid. Oh he is a little trooper--he sits by me and sleeps with me, though I'm starting to wonder about letting him sleep with me. Last night when I went to bed I discovered he'd had diarrhea on the bed. He peed on me today, and I fed him some raw liver as a treat and he threw it up. He's been losing weight so we're feeding him more canned food to try and beef him up. I'm worried he might have diabetes. I had another cat with that condition; couldn't afford the insulin, etc. and eventually she went into a coma and had to be put down. I don't want Sydney to suffer but I can't bear to let him go! He's my best friend. He's gonna have to "tell" me. (I've had cats tell me it was their time before - in dreams or otherwise.) So I pray either he gets better or gives me the sign!

Does anyone else have anxiety so bad that their body aches? Almost flu like! Nobody understands how crippling it is.......
