Hi Im a 17 year old female.... I am under a lot of stress and have depression. I also have severe paranoia about all illnesses but i have been to doctors about my problems. i have been to now four doctors for full check ups, one of which thought i had an inner ear imbalance and i took tablets for these.
i have had ONE clear blood test and am going to the hospital for another test (urine samples, blood etc) and my last doctor checked my glands and they are swollen, she suspects thyroid problems.
now these are the symptoms ive been getting for three months +.... in order.
1st day - started randomly feeling faint and strange.
1st week, tickly cough, sore throat and feeling faint as well as vertigo.
1st month - dizzyness clears, headaches occur and neck pains and swollen glands occur.
2nd month - left arm goes numb and tingly, heart pain, chest pain, scalp is sensitive on left side, severe headaches and artery in my neck is swollen and sore.
3rd month, started feeling like im going to black out, cheekbone and jaw feel numb/or heavy, glands still oversized and specific area in my left eye and left side of my head/middle feels like stabbing pains.
its pretty much all on the left side.
i have been getting weird twitching thats got worse, but no tremors. although ive twitched before this
my ear is still hurting on the left side.
a blood test doesnt show a brain tumour though does it? so the doctor at the hospital saying its a migraine when im not even sensitive to light - is lying
i think this could be a brain tumour 23/10/07 i have started getting tingling, cold sensations in one specific area on the left side of my head, a bit like someone pouring acid/water onto a small spot on my head. my scalp feels bruised and my temple and eye hurt and feel pressured.
theres no way this is all thyroid problems like the doc said. it must be cancer now
im scared of dying.
i cant keep on like this. after all ive fought if i find out i have cancer im going up the wall.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
Bryony did you get a brain scan yet? you didnt say? Im sure that if your doctor thought that this was nessasary he,d have sent you for one, I really DONT think its cancer swettie, i think your anxiety because of your syptoms is getting the better of you at the min! Please try and stay calm the best you can, hopefully these tests your going to do will show either something or nothing, but dont think the worst just yet! Are you naturally an anxious person? Lots of love xxx
I am so sorry your feeling like this but pls know that you are not alone and you will get thru this.

I hope the best for you
and dont worry ur most likely not dying try to think positive i know its real hard but when you think positive it helps ease some of the anxiety what we have to remember is most of what we feel is in our head so if we think it we feel it and make our selves sick so think good thoughts
