I haven't had one in years til today... but nothing was wrong. Does this happen to anyone else? How often?

That's the way panic attacks are. They come and they go. You never know when one might hit you or what triggered it. It just happens. But for the most part if you really try to notice things you can figure out what the possible triggers where that caused it.

Bless your heart. Look for the book Hope and Help for Your Nerves by Dr. Claire Weeks. It was a life saver for me. Yes, I get fleets of panic now and then which causes me to become aggitated. It is so uncomfortable. Hang in there! Hugs

The same thing here. Just yesterday, I was fine , all of a sudden felt like I was going to pass out but no other symptoms, so I laid down a few minutes and though i wasn't cured, i felt a little better. from what i hear Panic manifets even without your concious mind. This can happen to me daily and then sometimes not for weeks. Good luck!!!

I hadn't suffered panic attacks for years and I've had a couple of bad ones this year. I've been under a severe amount of stress so that's probably the underlying cause. They do come out of nowhere. My therapist taught me a coping mechanism when that happens. She said to immediately look at all the objects around you and say each one in your head. I haven't tried it yet because thankfully I haven't had a recent panic attack, but I will if and when it happens.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps.
