Hi guys,
I'm just new here. I resigned from a great job a few months ago due to anxiety-induced repeated illnesses: infections, etc. and I've started a new job and off sick again : ( I'm so fed up. This was my new start and I feel I've already failed! Scared of going back on Monday in case I don't have a job and/or can't cope.
Feel no way out for me as I keep getting physically sick regularly but all tests the doc gave me show no organic reason for these illnesses, so it's stress-induced.
Any advice?

Today is my 25th birthday, to my somewhat lack of surprise I can see already no one really seems to care. I've always been the kinda person to make sure that everyone I Care about feels appreciated and knew somebody had their back. I can count 4 times this year when I Went out of my way to make sure a "friend" felt good on their birthday, especially if they got left hanging. Its early in the...
I do get positive and push myself on but when I slip, I feel like such a hopeless case, like, why can't I make progress? I don't understand myself at all :( B
I found I generally do a little bit better when I can schedule some time for myself to unwind every day, doing something that I want to do instead of have to do. If you can't find the time for that, you've got too much on your plate. Hopefully, you'll be able to find a way to get rid of a few things you don't need as much.
In the end, I'm still stressed a lot, mostly because I always have things that I have to do, but I've been doing a little better and haven't missed any work from it for a couple of months.
Best of luck.
