Right now I'm living in Thailand for three months to intern for school. Culture shock didn't hit me until about three weeks in and now I'm starting to have anxiety. When I get anxious it gets really hard to eat and I just want to hide. But I've been getting up in the morning and going into work and trying to eat American-ish food. I googled counselors and I'm going to try and go to one today that speaks English and deals with culture shock and phobias and self-esteem. My room mate doesn't understand and thinks I'm being dramatic and stupid (she doesn't say that but I can tell by her body language). So I feel really alone. I just want some encouragement that the anxiety will get better and I'm normal
