Does anyone else have anxiety upon waking? Seems lately I wake up each morning heart pounding, headachey or like pressure in my head, and just a general sense of not feeling well. Doc said to take 1 mg. Xanax at bedtime to help w/ sleep. It does help me to fall asleep and stay asleep at least with just waking up briefly after 4 hours, but I go back to sleep. Tried other sleep aids and they quit working after awhile, was waking up still under the effect of the sleep med and holy crap what a feeling, like the room was spinning out of control. Could it be the Xanax at bedtime possibly? Appreciate any advice and suggestions.
