remember to be as thorough and honest with your doc so they can decide what medications best for you.
Hang in there! we all have bad times, and this will pass.
But at some point, healing must come from within you. My doc really had me focus on confidence. Do your best every day to make time for relaxation. It's hard, I know, but sometime you have to actively PRACTICE relaxation. You can do this!
(on a side note: i got lucky though because i'm a nurse and work closely with my MD other than for just me and he basically says "if you think you need to take more, take more -increase to 20mg every day- and let me know and I'll change it" he does the same for a few other meds and it seems to be working just fine. personally, i think that as long as my medication requests are within a normal range he will give it to me so i feel "in control" of my planning and anxiety management.... but it's working so far so I can't complain.)
the best thing to do is to tell your MD if it's not working. there are pleanty of other meds other than lexapro that can be perscribed. :)
