Hi there - I'm new to the site and just beginning my journey to wellness. I have had anxiety all my life and some weird recent symptoms are helping me choose to work through it finally. I tried the "natural" way: therapy, acupuncture, herbs and good food for about four weeks, but realized yesterday that I need more help. A co-worker suggested Lexapro to me and my primary care agreed to have me try it for five weeks and then we would reevaluate. There is so much negative information (and some positive) out there regarding this and other anti-anxiety, anti-depressant drugs that I need all the help I can get I feel to stay positive and keep the course. i know I will feel better someday, but the fact that I don't know when is hard to deal with. So i guess my question is, can you send me your positive stories and positive suggestions for staying the course? What has helped you get through the adjustment period and get to wellness? Anyone ever been on it and got off with great success? I just need to feel supported. Thank you in advance. :)

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips.
