The best thing is to concentrate on your breathing, slow it down, and try to clear your mind (I know, easier said then done)
I also found that councelling helped a great deal. Sometimes whatever we are anxious about comes out in a fear of dying. at least it did for me. And once i started talking about my other issues, i found that it got better.

It is interesting that people mentioned that it could be something else that is bothering me, as a few years ago I had a few months where I didn't think about it at all, yet obviously I was still going to die, so why was it better?
I guess I need to work out why that time was better? maybe I was contented at the time for another reason....
Anyway, thanks for all the help and advice, any more advice would be greatly appreciated.
