Is it correct to ignore underlying cause of anxiety and drug person's symptoms creating an addict who is nonfunctional? I have tried to get treatment for severe pain following an accident. The pain and stress of trying to get treatment lead to severe anxiety. Then, I had a flashback and panic attacks. Also refused treatment for months, but now given bezodiazipines for a week only. They are great and don't know how I will live without them. Why did they even give me some to take it away? maybe because they worked? Can I ask to take them for life?
