I just switched from Lexapro to Celexa and am very happy with it so far. I might also add that I do therapy as well.

I was on Paxil for many years. It helped, until the beginning of this year. We initially tried supplementing the Paxil with Xanax. We tried this for a few weeks with no results. We then tried floxetine, 20 mg to start. After a month or two, we wound up settling on 60 mg's. I'm happy to say, I haven't needed the Xanax in months, though I do carry them around as a security blanket. The Paxil had the side effects of trembling, sweating, and weight gain. My doctor referred to it as pack it on Paxil. It's been 10 months on the fluoxetine, and 20 pounds lighter I'm doing much better. Sounds like you have a good doctor, willing to do what's necessary to make you feel better:) good luck tomorrow!
