After 4 months of not driving, I finally drove today. This is also the first time I have ever driven by myself. The pressure is on, because I start school in less than 3 weeks and I am commuting so I need to drive. I only went around the block and went very slowly, but it was a step I needed to take. I was so scared and was shaking in the beginning but I was so proud when I finished. Then I got home and started thinking about what could have happened, how I could have hit someone or something, or caused an accident. Oh well, I'm still glad I did it. I start private lessons next week to get me more comfortable with driving again, so I hope that goes well and I get back into it. I hope I can because I really don't want to let this anxiety control my life.
