Hopefully, you can just explain it to your mom. Just tell her what you are feeling, and tell her that you looked some symptoms up online and that you are pretty sure that you are suffering from anxiety and depression, and that you would like to see a doctor to get on medicine. You can see your family doctor, it doesn't have to be a psychiatrist of psychologist. Nothing specific causes these problems, it can be a lot of small things, or a few big things. But that is part of what you need help for too, so that you can figure out what deep down is causing it and start to heal. Let me know how it goes... I hope she is understanding (HUGS)

HI UMMCONFUSED, YOU ARE DOING THE RIGHT THING BY TRYING AND LETTING YOUR PARENTS KNOW JUST WHAT YOU ARE FEELING. IF YOU FEEL LIKE YOU ARE NOT GETTING ANYWHERE WITH THEM UNDERSTANDING, ITS OK TO GO TO A SCHOOL COUNSELOR, OR MAYBE A PASTOR. BUT HOPEFULLY YOUR PARENTS WILL UNDERSTAND JUST HOW YOU ARE FEELING, AND GET YOU THE HELP YOU NEED. I AM SO GLAD THAT YOU ARE ABLE TO TALK ABOUT IT. STAY STRONG AND GOD BLESS YOUNG LADIE:)

If you are having a hard time explaining things you are going through by talking out loud perhaps you could write your mom a letter. Sometimes writing for some people can really help express exactly what they are going through and what their hopes and expectations are as well as what they hope to achieve from other people regarding advice and support. If you are comfortable in doing so perhaps you could try that.

I've always been the kinda person to make sure that everyone I Care about feels appreciated and knew somebody had their back. I can count 4 times this year when I Went out of my way to make sure a "friend" felt good on their birthday, especially if they got left hanging. Its early in the...
