Hi all,
Im new here and hoping to chat with people who know what Im talking about (for a change).
I have had a rough 2 weeks as my anxiety has retuned (after a few years) and im struggling a bit to accept it.
I have had anxiety on and off for a number of years, but only had a handful of very bad times, where it lasted daily for a number of months.
The last time, i was pregnant, 4 years ago. I am now pregnant again, and feeling exactly the same.
The first trimester brings a lot of change, and very bad nausea/exhaustion etc so its possible it was triggered by that.
I do get anxious feelings whenever I feel depleted ( very unwell with tummy type upset/sickness or if had few too many to drink and not enough sleep).
Is there anyone there who understands and can get me 'back on track'?
I had started to try and 'out think' it which never works, so I am now trying to letit just wash over me, and believe it will pass.
Thanks everyone, any replies much appreciated.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
Anxiety and depression runs in my family.I am 57 and have had it on and off for over 30 years.I find mine is situational and yes I get those feelings and I could not talk my self out.
I had a mini meltdown in March when my daughter was transferred overseas and my son who lives overseas in the USA went home the same time as my daughter was transferred.I lived on chocolate milk ice poles for about 3 weeks as I could not eat.
I had my meds increased and had counselling and I have now had my meds reduced and am not having counselling.
Every one is different. My 25 year old has 2 melt downs a week with anxiety and depression. At present he is suicidal.
Go to your Doctor and get a check up it could be from hormones playing up now you are pregnant.
I also use to say I can do it and I will do it.I am a Christians and I would say Jesus Jesus all day. Those things helped me do the thing I had to until I was better.
Good luck and blessings to you.
