Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
Seriously, think of it as your day, the happiest day of your life and make it yours. Tailor the wedding to your needs and make it relaxed and fun.
firstly use your friends and family to help you even with the smallest of things. dont be afraid to ask. I was but believe me they will be honoured you asked cos everyone loves getting involved in weddings :-)
Secondly I planned to have the ceromony, wedding meal and night disco all in the same place running from one to the other (afternoon wedding meaning plenty of time to get ready and chill) so no stress of hopeing to get to one place from another on time.
Thirdly I have arranged to have a friend over the night before with me, and am actually sleeping at the venue itself the night before.
forthly i plan to keep my doctor and community nurse informed of progress and how i'm feeling so that i can chat to them lots and lots if needed and maybe take extra meds if needed to keep the anxiety at bay and also finally i plan to go to some anxiety workshops to teach me some good coping techniques before the event which by the way is in august next year - giving me plenty of time to prepare.
most importantly remember its your day and you can have it how you want it. dont try and meet others expectations- this wedding is nothing to do with what others expect of you and what they expect the day to be like. as long as the pair of you have a good day then tough to everyone else!
Please feel free to personally message me and have fun planning. here for you. hug X
