Ok I posted this in depression, because I tend to post there more...but I wanted to share this. I found this exercise in a self help book (to help with anxiety)....thought it might be nice to share..!
Exercise: Listen to your own advice.
How are you feeling right now? Take a few deep breaths, step outside your body and take a good look at your physiology. How is your face? Is your forehead smooth and relaxed or is it furrowed and anxious? Is your jaw tense and anxious? How is your posture? If you are looking anxious, imagine you are talking to that anxious person. Ask them what they are anxious about. Allow a wiser part of yourself to pass on some words of wisdom. Notice how the picture begins to change and transform into a much calmer you. Continue to offer those words of wisdom untill all the muscles in the body seem to relax. Notice how your breathing has slowed down completely. Step inside your shoes again and associate into your relaxed calm body.
A load of rubbish? Or a helpful exercise? YOU DECIDE!!!!

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
