I don't know if it's just me, but when i have told people close to me i have social anxiety, they don't seem to take it very seriously or even believe me. They'll just put it aside and say you're shy nothings wrong with you. Some people haven't even heard of social anxiety. They know of people being shy & avoiding social situations but not that it's an actual problem that so many people suffer from every day.
I am told so often "nothing is wrong with you" i guess it's hard for people to understand, apparently i hide my anxiety well. I just think social anxiety should be more recognised.
The other day i went to look up social anxiety for group meetings in sydney and it was so hard to find anything!!
does anyone agree with me on this?

I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
