your anxiety is so bad you can not function since last April. I have an anxious friend who feels her family is going to commit her to a group home because she cannot get herself going again after 4 traumatic events in her life that caused her to suffer severe anxiety and loose her job. I have never heard of such a thing in my state. Here we work to help people get back on there feet with behaviorial health classes.
Does anyone know about this and what is your opinion?

Long ago, I worked at what was ostensibly a rock and roll club, but I swear, we were more a social services organization than a rock and roll bar. Long story short, there was a kid with mental problems and cerebral palsy - his parents would literally dump him downtown, barefoot, in winter, because they just couldn't cope. I used to judge them but I've stopped - judgment never comes to good.
We would take this kid, and a thousand other misfits, into our club where we had heat, useful things they could do, and a consistent set of people they could get to know and get support from.
Sean eventually stumbled barefoot into traffic and died, is what I heard through the grapevine, long after our long-running rock club had closed. So sad. I hope Leonard, Francis and the other misfits we helped found another place.
