i journaled past experiences, and when i went to my psychotherapy appt, my therapist read my journal and i followed the movement of his hand. he held is hand up and moved it in a back and forth motion at different speeds, depending on what he was reading in my journal....if it got too much for me, i could ask him to stop and take a break.....
From what my therapist has told me, it will help you deal with your anxiety triggers and help you replace the negative feelings you have with more soothing relaxing thoughts and feelings.

Eileen I am so glad you went to the session! I have felt great since my session on tuesday, I have felt very calm which I haven't felt in a long time! I have another session next friday and I can't wait.
