I used to have both, but now just anxiety. I had a really good doctor that taught me how to control the physical effects of panic through breathing and thought processes. If you can stop the attacks, the anxiety isn't as bad. I think also that the drugs helP!

i mention this to the doctor and although ive been on medication for my depression for years he seems to think that the meds he is giving me wil help with the anxiety aswell but i dont feel any better. i read earlier that some people take combinations of meds i wonder if this would help? im so fed up of the trial and error attitude with medication!

Started with PAs which left me with GAD which I think is mainly due to the fear of having another PA. The first PA I had was horrendous, truly thought i was gonna die! Once i found out what it was they were less severe. Still get episodes of GAD when i worry about having another PA alot. With me is all fear of fear.

I have pretty chronic anxiety but I seldom have a full fledged panic attack. I sometimes wish I'd just have a panic attack and get it over with. However, the panic has landed me in the ER but so has the anxiety. Sigh...... there's nothing left to do but keep trying:)

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
