I am looking for a therapist and the so mayn different types. First of all, what is the difference between a therapist and a counselor?Also their are different initials afterhteir names-what is a RNCS,and what is a LMHC? L know that a LicsSW is a liscensed Social Worker. SOme are PHd's and some are EDd's-does that meant they are psychologists? I think if I went to a psychiatrist it would only be for medication, and then I would have to go to a therapist or a counselor for my behavioral therapy. What kind of a therapist do you go to? This is kind of confusing nd complicated!
