Well I made it through my second day at my temp job unscathed. The person I report to came into my office and asked to talk to me. In my mind, I said "Here it comes." He just wanted to know if I would be available on the same three days a week in the future. I hope the look on my face didn't give me away. Little by little I'm getting back into the main stream and it feels good. This morning I almost wanted to turn the car around because of the anxiety I felt but I didn't and it left when I really got into the job at hand. I want to share this for anyone in my same shoes. You just have to face things head on and they start losing their power over you. It's unpleasant but worth it in the end.
