for approx. a year i have been esperiencing unexplained convulsion type seizure symptoms . they can last from 15 minutes to over an hour . theybegin with my inability to focus my eyes and eventually i lose the ability to speak beginning with a slight slur to no speech at all following a type of drunken gutteral type of expression which is followed by out of control screaming and crying . i loose the use of my hands and arms , no longer able to grip or hold my arms up without flailing . my legs buckle underme and will also flail if i am laying down . i have virtually no use of my legs and must be carried to bed if i dont fall when alone . i eventually cry myself to sleep . they seem to b in clusters , every few days and then sometimes none for months . i have had mris , catscans , balance tests , etc.. nothing has been found . the disorder can begin while sitting , walking , laying down and doesnt seem to b related to any anxiety issues. i have even been to the mayo clinic where the symptomology fits none known . in the last 4 days i have experienced 3 and ended up in the e.r. for over 8 hours for them to tell me they could find nothing , i fear that one date it will b too late and then it will b found what these symptoms mean . i m presently on 2 different forms of anti-conv. including 4 topomax per days . any comments would mean the world to me . thanx for caring .
