True compassion begins when we see others and ourselves as limbs of the same tree. There is no separation of us and them. We are individual branches of the same tree, and if one limb is hurt, the tree can suffer hurt. Compassion forces us to act not because we wish to be kind or show charity. Compassion moves us into action because the pain of another is a part of the pain within ourselfs. So compassion is an inner positive emotion, not any action we might take. The action is a result of the emotion of our compassion. If we do some good acts without it coming from emotion then it is just good acts. Not all good acts are from compassion, only the one doing the acts knows within if it was from compassion. We are One. Just one opinion from one person
