hi there - i have jsut got this rush of anxiety come over me.
ive been fine all day until now, and i think i am dying again. its so frustrating.
its partly because i know im due for my tests, (blood test etc.) and its really doing me over. I have felt the side of my neck where my glands are and theres this lump about 2cm long, thats moveable and smooth.
its same on the otherside but its HUGE on the left side.
I can feel it around my cheekbones as well. Ive started internally shaking and i dont know what to do because everytime i ring a helpline i feel better afterwards - but it comes back quickly again. oh god - what can i do now? oh please help me I am feeling so helpless, i just want to cry, this is too much for me.

Just relax you wont know what it is untill the test results come back. I don't know how you could calm yourself down, but from an outside perspective the situation isn't too much for you and I think you can cope with it. You have it inside you you just have to figure how to let it out.

It sounds to me like your glands are just swollen. Have you had a cold or anything lately? Don't add 2nd fear. This is what is causing you anxiety. You are scaring yourself. Just calm down and find something to busy yourself so you can think of something else. Are your cheekbones sore? Do you suffer from sinus problems? Sinus infections will cause your glands to swell and your cheeks to be painful. Also around your eyes. You'll be fine. Just calm down and don't dwell on it.

As you see even though the feeling are horrific they won't kill you.The important thing is to keep busy.Try deep breathing and visualization theraupy. You can get it right of the internet. Good luck

I agree with the others. I also have had swollen glands. It sounds just what you are describing. Having a anxiety disorder really sucks because it is hard to know what is anxiety related and what is physically related. But this sounds just like swollen glands.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
