i heard on here that potassium and magnesium supplements help suppress anxiety? true or faulse?

JillyT
not having enough magnesium can cause an irregular heartbeat. I suppose if you feel fearful because your heart isn't beating properly than it would make sense that taking the supplement could help. I don't really know for sure. I know that magnesium is good for nerves and controlling pain caused by damaged nerves cause my doctor had me take it for some nerve damage in my lower back. Hopefully someone else has experience with this and can let us know...hugs jilly

Not sure about the Potassium, but my P-Doc did say to take the Magnesium.

I heard that also and bought some from the health food store and started taking them and my heart does not seem to race or palpitate as much.

Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
