A treatment I think every person suffering from anxiety and/or depression should try is a gluten free diet for no less than one month. For a long time my anxiety/depression was caused because I was ingesting gluten without knowing how poisonous it was to my system. It was remarkable how much better I felt when I first became gluten free. I still have problems today, but for different reasons. There are so many people out there that are intolerant/sensitive to gluten and go about their day unaware, suffering with panic attacks and suicidal thoughts. And it was a naturopath, not a medical doctor who clued me in.
