My best friend has a four year old daughter that freaks out when she gets overly tired and will cry to the point she is hyperventilating and dry heaving. The only thing you can get her to say is "I want to go home". Not even her parents can get her calmed down, the only thing that calms her is getting her to her house. Because of this, they can't take her on vacations, or let her spend the night at a family member's house. The don't give her naps, and I am thinking it is because she is so exhausted. This is something that has progressed over a period of a couple years. Any advice??
