I've just had an unpleasant experience with cymbalta. My doctor put me on it for depression and anxiety. After 4 days, my anxiety was 100% gone, the problem is - *I* was 100% gone. I felt nothing. Not happy, not sad, not angry, not joyful - my brain was in a fog - my mind was numb. I felt drugged and dazed. I sat on the couch for hours and hours and just stared out the window with zero thoughts in my mind and the entire time I had a buzzing numbness in my head like I overdosed on cold medication. It was horrible. I'd much rather feel anxiety than to be lifeless and numb. I stopped taking it and now i'm sick and throwing up. I was on the lowest dose, so there was no way to wean off, I had to just stop. Has anyone else had this experience with cymbalta?
