Hi, my name is John and I am new to this group.
I have a family history of Agoraphobia. I was diagnosed with Anxiety about 10 years ago. About 2 years ago, I started getting physical symptoms, i.e. head pressure, dizziness. Going to a store is an adventure for me. The slightest thing gives me a panic attack. I seem to do ok in crowds, as long as people do not enter my personal space. Everywhere I go, I must set up personal space for me to be comfortable. If I don't, I panic. My wife and I are constantly fighting about my anxiety and she is not willing to help me. I just started seeing a psychiatrist.
Any advice is always welcome

My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
It,s very hard for someone who doesn,t have anxiety to know what where going through.
I bought my husband a book on anxiety disorders to help him understand.
You may want to have your wife attend therapy with you a couple of times so she may get a better picture and understanding of what your going through.
It,s going to be a tough call as far as having another a child, is it really fair on you to ask you to come off meds that help you? and do these meds really have any effect on fertility?, i have never heard of that before and am not sure it is so, i would ask your doctor if your meds truely affect your fertility.
Good luck!.
