i have been taking klonopin it seems like forever - was first given an rx at 17 to take as needed and did on and off. had a breakdown last winter, diagnosed with PTSD and Borderline Personality Disorder (in addition to the existing probs of depression, general anxiety and OCD)and was told to take .5mg QID. Recently went up to 1mg QID. (Altho i have to admit lately i've been bad about taking it throughout the day its just a pain, but was doing it up until a couple months ago. When I told my doc how much trouble i was having sleeping (even after taking 100mg of trazadone at night which was doing nothing after a cpl months) he put me up to 2mg at bedtime and 1mg TID. Still have not got back into taking it totally on schedule (I understand it works better that way) as i've been out of work and am all off schedule in general, but my major problem lately has not so much been feeling extremely anxious but having difficulty breathing. I went to an Urgent Care one night some time ago it was so bad and they checked everything and physically everything was fine, my lungs were great and they said it was prob anxiety and i would be best of taking a klonopin (i had told them all the meds i was on) but htey did give me an inhaler to help relax the lung muscles. which doesn't work. well the breathing thing got better for awhile, but now had gotten worse again, esp at night. i have told my doctor this, asked about other klonopin like meds that maybe i could try as i've been on it so long and prob have quite the tolerance. it does absolutely nothing for the breathing prob. and i know the pro is from anxiety. however when i suggested xanax he said not a good idea, much more addictive than klonopin. but i took 6mg all at once the other night and it still did absolutely nothing to alleviate the breathing prob. see him again mext week so gonna talk to him about it again. a friend of mine mentioned ativan but i don't think thats something they like to give you long term. its so frustrating tho cuz the doc just says take a klonopin and start working on some of the things that are making you anxious. which i am doing, but that takes time. in the meantime i am def gettin very tired of going through this every night, it is soooo uncomfortable, it keeps me from falling asleep. my doc is a good doc but i don't know why he is not coming up with any alternatives. am i right in thinking i've prob built up quite a tolerance in the last year? anyone have any suggestions as to what has worked for them as far as an anti-anxiety med? anyone ever have this difficulty breathing prob? i am getting enough oxygen in my lungs, i just feel like i'm not getting any air. could use some advice, maybe something to go to the doctor with this week. really sick of this it is so uncomfortable

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
