It is possible to have children with APS it just may take a bit more time and effort to have a baby, but don't give up.
I found out I have APS when I was 44. My MD's were surprized because I have 4 children out of 6 pregnancies.
Good luck.......DJM
then I found an incredible high risk ob/gyn. He started me on low dose asprian BEFORE i got pregnant.
I had a son born at 38 weeks and he weighed 7 lbs 5 oz. 17 months later I had a daughter born at 36.5 weeks and she weighed 6 lbs and 7 oz...and 21 months after that I had another daughter. She was born at 38 weeks and weighed 6 lbs and 3 oz.
It is all about finding the right doctor in my opinion. After the birth of my last child I had a tubal litigation. I have a lot of health problems and my body could just not handle anymore pregnancies.
They monitered my blood during pregnancies to watch and see if I need the heperin shots. I did not. Now my youngest is 4 years old and I am taking Warfarin and still taking a low dose aspirian.
Talk with your doctor. Every person is different and every treatment is different.
