my son aged 5 had a acute case of ITP after his MMR vaccine, he now has the antiphospholipid antibody syndrome in his blood, we have been told this is very rare in a child, and in some cases it clears up, is this true, has anyone experienced this before?

I have antiphospholipid syndrome that I inherited from my mother and my son has the trait in his blood but until he sufferes a clot he is not being treated for it. My son's trait was discovered at age 6 and he is now 16.
