Anger Management Support Group
Anger management commonly refers to therapeutic techniques by which someone with excessive or uncontrollable anger can control or reduce their emotions. Typical examples include the use of deep breathing and meditation as a means to relaxation. Psychologists recommend a balanced approach, which both controls the emotion and allows it to express itself in a healthy way.

So my house is having a party tonight.
But I'm in an aggresive mood.
Last time, I asked a girl who was sitting on the stairs outside my bedroom to politely move, and she ignored me. So I pushed her out of the way gently to get "DON'T FUCKING TOUCH ME!"
Of course I blew up with "GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY HOUSE THEN, BITCH!" and we just started having a shout off which embarrassed me and everyone who I live with.
Now, as much as I protested against it, we're having yet another party, and I really feel like lamping someone if they give me any shit. I told my housemate this and she got annoyed and stormed out of the room.
I can't leave the house and go elsewhere because everyone who's free is coming here, and I can't even stay online as we're hiding the router for the internet. My room won't lock so I'll have people trying to get in all fucking night.
Any tips on how to deal?

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
I think in cases like this, it is important to mentally prepare yourself for the fact that situations are going to come up that will test your anger. Since at least you are self-aware, you can devise a plan for yourself as to what you will do when those emotions arise. If you feel your blood start to boil, leave the place and go for a short walk, lock yourself in the bathroom and try and self-talk yourself down for a few minutes, or find a trusted friend that you can calmly tell your feelings to.
But most importantly (and you probably won't like this one!!) people with anger problems really should watch how much alcohol they drink, especially when they KNOW that they are about to be surrounded by people who are going to test their limits. You know as well as I do that alcohol lowers your inhibitions and allows us to lose control alot more easily. Try as best you can to stay sober so you can stay in control.
It turned out that, unlike the last one, this party was a little less crazy. So I actually enjoyed it when I finally went downstairs so it was cool. It was those 2 friends that helped the most though!
