Anger management commonly refers to therapeutic techniques by which someone with excessive or uncontrollable anger can control or reduce their emotions. Typical examples include the use of deep breathing and meditation as a means to relaxation. Psychologists recommend a balanced approach, which both controls the emotion and allows it to express itself in a healthy way.
Please do not beat yourself up over yelling at your kids... I think every mother in the world would be a bunch of bruises if we did! My children are grown now,, and I was a screamer! I have lived my life in regret that I did not take the time and have the patience to be the mother that I wanted to be! However, when someone asks my grown sons, what type of Mother I was,, they say the best! They always knew that I loved them! So, my advise is to take deep breaths, before you act! That gives you time to think about what you say! My grandmother used to tell me to count to 10... which ever works best for you! Make sure your kids know you love them and you will be ok!
