I have tried a regular supplement and then a slow release iron supplement and everytime I take these I get severe heartburn and nausea from the iron, and I am anemic so they want me taking these supplements. Is there anything that I can eat that would have the equivalent or something that I could take that wouldn't cause this? Also, the prenatal vits that I used to take with each preg. had iron in them and caused the same problem so I know that it's the iron. Does anyone have any alternative suggestions on how to get your daily dose and not feel sick? Thanks for any comments.
