Anemia (or anaemia), which literally means "without blood," is a deficiency of red blood cells and/or hemoglobin. This results in a reduced ability of blood to transfer oxygen to the tissues, and this causes hypoxia; since all human cells depend on oxygen for survival, varying degrees of anemia can have a wide range of clinical consequences.

i know docs is relucant to give me nything cuz i am b12 and iron defienct but thats got nothin to do with my question. My question is do any of you others get dizzy and nasious when docs draw your blood?I know i do.

Yes I did once but I was pregnant then.

I do, but it's gotten better. I've worked on drinking lots of fluids beforehand making it easier to draw my blood and to always keep breathing. They said sometimes I would kind of hold my breath a little which would make it come out alot slower. I still feel kinda dizzy at times tho.

I do not and I have it drawn all the time . Make sure you are hydrated and is it maybe because you are fasting? Talk to you Dr about this and hang in there

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps.
