I don't know what to tell my employer about when I can return to work. It is only 4-5 hours once a week. I will have one BK amputation, then the other BK amputation after I can stand on my first amputated stump (8-10 weeks they say....). Since there is pain and swelling for months, when can one go back to work? I already have hand controls so driving is not a problem. I gather I need to elevate my stump above my heart a lot to reduce swelling?

I have my maxed amount of epidural shots of my cervical DDD....(and no one cares about my lumbar DDD)..... I've done physical therapy, muscle relaxers, Amitriptyline, Nortryptiline, desipramine.....narcotics... So I decided to go to a spine specialist and they have me on Gabapentin. Its been two weeks and it did nothing for my lumbar ever... but it did seem to help my cervical and arm/hand pain...
