I am really pissed off about this sock ssue. I understand that our limbs shrink and swell a bit throught the day, and sone times you need a sock, a thin one, or maybe 2, but some of you people are talking about thick socks and needin 3 of those, and 4 or 5 thin ones. Why do we need to do this?? Is the prothitist just LAZY or what. I think a new socket is in order in some of these cases. My prothistist tried to do me that way too, and I threw a fit!1 Is there no reason why we should have a socket THAT FITS????? I know the have to put patches in the socket to fine tune the fit, and I have several. But this sock crap is for the birds!!! They are going to have to take a new mold on me, and that will be my "definitive" prothesis; the one I have has been patched inside for adjustments, but my limb has changed, and smaller than ever, so I am going to insist on a new socket!!! I think some of you should too. Much love to all.
